As summer builds from the spring equinox, the days grow long and blessings from the sun increasingly shower a hemisphere with energy. With life cycles evolved in lockstep, plants transmute that energy into their life force and build the foundation for most life on the planet. The solstice is the top of that arc — the moment before the light begins, imperceptibly, to turn back.
